A newlywed couple returned from their honeymoon

As soon as the newlyweds returned from their honeymoon, the young bride called her mother, who lived a couple of hours away. “How did everything go?” her mom inquired.

“Oh, mother,” she replied, “the honeymoon was amazing! It was so romantic, and we had a fantastic time.

But, mother, on our way back, Andy started using some really awful language.

Words I had never heard before—truly terrible four-letter words.

You have to come and get me and take me home. Please, Mother!” the new bride cried over the phone.

“But, sweetheart,” her mother responded, “what four-letter words?”

“I can’t tell you, mother, they’re too terrible! Please come get me!”

“Darling, you need to tell me what has upset you so much… just tell me what four-letter words he used.” Still in tears, the bride said, “Mother, words like dust, wash, iron, cook.”
