Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump said that his wife, Melania Trump, was so deeply affected by a particular incident that he found it difficult to talk about it. During a Monday interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Trump explained that Melania had watched the event unfold live and has still been unable to fully discuss what she witnessed.
“She was watching everything unfold in real time. She really can’t even talk about it, which I understand,” Trump said. “I appreciate that she cares so much. She thought the worst had happened when I came down,” the former president added, describing Melania’s initial reaction.
Meanwhile, Ronald Rowe recently assumed the role of acting director of the Secret Service, succeeding Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned after House hearings. During those hearings, Cheatle faced intense questioning, particularly over communication failures connected to a shooting incident on July 13. The Associated Press reported the news.
