Priscilla Pointer, the acclaimed actress of both stage and screen, has died at the age of 100. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday at an assisted living residence in Ridgefield, Connecticut, according to her son, filmmaker David Irving. Best known for portraying Rebecca Barnes Wentworth on Dallas and for appearing in productions alongside her daughter, Amy Irving, Pointer was also Steven Spielberg’s mother-in-law during his marriage to Irving.
